The Summer Enrichment Institute (SEI) offers summer courses for students entering Kindergarten through twelfth grade. Courses range from enrichment courses like Drawing With the Computer, to preparatory courses like Jump Start Second Grade and Gearing Up for Geometry. SEI also offers courses for high school graduation credit on-campus at LAHS and online.
SEI courses for 2012 summer will run between July 2 and July 27, with no class on July 4 in observance of local holiday. Courses vary from one to four weeks in length and are two hours in legnth. Courses are offered across the content areas in math, science, language arts, technology, visual and performing arts, test preparation and physical fitness.
The elementary campus (K-5) will operate from 8am-12pm and be located at Oak Middle School. Students can take one class from 8am-10am or from 10am-12pm. Students can also join us for two classes a day, the four-hour program for a discounted price. Morning and afternoon transportation will be provided for Camp Fun in the Sun students and The Youth Center summer program children who participate in the 8am-12pm SEI program.
The secondary campus (6-12) will be located at Los Alamitos High School and will offer classes from 8am-2:30pm.
